Me empolguei e fiz a versão em inglês. Será que lá tem mais guerra? Mais amor? E o Bem? E a Felicidade? Com meus cumprimentos a Cláudio Rúbio, autor da idéia original em português. Eis a versão inglesa:

It’s not raining. But it’s okay. I look for the truth on Google, in English. Results: 19.900.000 pages found in 0,15 seconds. Then, I looked for lie. 3.950.000 pages, in 0,18 secs. There’s more truth than lie in the Internet in English too, and the lie in English is not as slow to be found than it is in portuguese. Why’s that?

Then I looked for happiness; 5,170,000 results in 0,27 secs. Sadness, quite different than the Portuguese findings, shows 1,540,000 results, way less than happiness (yeih!), and in 0,38 seconds, way slower (yeih again!).

Happy, and hopeful, I keep searching and look for peace (27,500,000 results, in 0,33 secs) to find that it also loses for war (88,000,000 pages, in 0,12 segundos) in English speakers and comes faster… . Maybe that happens because forgiveness (2,110,000 pages, 0,19 segundos) stands ten times less frequent than attack (22,200,000 times, in 0,25 secs), exactly the same proportion as in Portuguese.

But hate, with 8,140,000 pages in 0,20 secs, reveals itself waaay smaller than LOVE, with 122,000,000 pages in 0,72 secs (that’s more findings than war, hate, attack, sadness and lie together!), the Good (182,000,000 results!, 0,21 secs) is more abundant than evil (18,300,000 pages, 0,59 segundos). Good and Love prevail over everything, according Google. Is that absolutely awesome or what?

Finnally, I looked for solutions, 57,000,000 results. No lighting bold, no thunder. The oracle is still working, and the last word I want to say: “thank you”. 13,300,000 results. We need more of it.
