New poll shows Kerry leading Bush in race for presidency

NEW YORK (AP) - If the presidential election were held today Sen. John Kerry would have a slight edge over President Bush. A new poll released by Newsweek shows 49 percent of voters would choose Kerry compared to the 46 percent who would vote for Bush.
